Glendale Brook meanders through a natural upland meadow that was once part of the 18th century Glendale Farm. Grist mill foundations can be seen at the top of the falls, where the water cascades more than 150 feet over rock ledges to join the middle branch of the Westfield River.

Spring is a great season to visit, as the waterfalls are at their fullest and wildflowers bloom in abundance. Forest includes hemlock, birch, beech, maple and thickets of mountain laurel. Wildlife includes deer, raccoon, ruffed grouse and woodcock.

Open year-round, daily, sunrise to sunset. Admission is Free. Owned and managed by The Trustees of Reservations. Visit The Trustees of Reservations website and find out more about this nonprofit conservation organization of Massachusetts, caring for 100 places of cultural, natural, and historical significance, called "reservations." These special places are protected for everyone, forever, and are open to the public.
