The MassCountryRoads Traveler and Tourism
Information project is the result of a federal Intelligent
Transportation System earmark. This money was granted to
a regional ITS partnership, led by MassHighway and the
Franklin County Chamber of Commerce. The goals of the project
are to promote economic development through tourism and
to improve regional travel safety.
