The village of Middlefield offers the visitor an amazing view of the surrounding, sweeping countryside. A number of interesting attractions are a short hike from the center of the village: Glendale Falls, the Keystone Arches, an abandoned soapstone quarry, plus a number of scenic rivers.
If you happen to be passing through during the summer, you might want to drop by Middlefield’s annual agricultural fair, which has been running for over 138 years.
